We offer various standard acrylic materials for our enclosure and faceplate kits. Our faceplate kits are available in transparent, glossy white, glossy black, white satin and black satin. The thickness of these standard materials is 3mm (+/- 1/8 inch).

Translucent satin acrylic

This is our most popular material option. The satin material has a light surface structure, so fingerprints, scratches and dust are much harder to see when compared to glossy acrylic.

The satin material is slightly translucent, so you can place leds behind it. The white satin material is approximately 50% translucent, the black satin material 80%.

Laser engraved panels

The materials that are best suited for laser engraving are transparent and white satin acrylic. We prefer to mirror the artwork to engrave the inside of the panel, so that the outside remains smooth. Check our Flickr photostream for some examples of laser engraved faceplates.
