    Hello,
    This is my first post.

    It is about slidepot 8 - 8 x 70mm slide potentiometer.

Could it be possible use regular battlemixer to build it? there are any photo or draw about this prototype?

    I want 8 regular faders.

I need a custom prototype which is not suitable in the related ones. What are the process to share my idea with community?

    Thanks,
    Mudo

    Hi Mudo,

What exactly do you mean with "battlemixer"? The slidepot module uses industry standard slide potentiometers, so many brands of faders will fit inside it. Send me a link if you have a special type that you want to build into the module and I'll have a look. Dimensional drawings will be posted when the shop goes live. Custom modules are possible, you will be able to upload your drawing during the order process.

Hi Friskee, I'm working very hard to get the final details sorted out. I'm stocking up on components that will or can be used inside the modules. It doesn't make sense to order parts from 3 different shops just to complete one module.

    Hey XNDR,
    I have a question:

I guess it´s possible to put 4 normal prototyping module-top-kits in one big base kit, true?
    Also 4 different ones?
And is it possible to split a top-kit? For example the 4x4 control dial deck. I want to split them into two to 2x4 control dial decks?

    greetings..

hey xndr, any news about the prototyping modules? this sounds really great, just what i was looking for. although, there are some open questions (sorry if i didnt get it right), perhaps you could desribe shortly how this thing works exactly?

    - is there only one "main" arduino or does every module have an arduino on its own?
    - does this work via usb and uses osc protocol? or serial data/midi?
    - does one need to script a max/msp patch to make it work with software like ableton live?
    - where exactly does the prototyping pcb come in? does it sit in every module and connects the controls to the arduino?

I finished all the electronics for an arduinome and am looking for a nice case. The model on the left of the following picture looks perfect: http://www.machinecollective.org/posts/2009/03/10/switching-webhosts-and-a-progress-update/arduinome-and-new-formfactor/
Can the new arduinome form factor (8x4) be ordered through the order form? If so, how much does it cost?
    Thank you.
